▸ DARKNESS - the entire world has been swallowed in it. Arceus has been the victim of a vicious nightmare from which it cannot awake, and these dreams have plunged the world into darkness. It's up to the Trainers of the world to reach deep within themselves and tap into their inner Pokemon in order to find the Light Shards to awaken Arceus and save the world from falling into shadow.

Fallen To Shadow is a literate Pokemorph roleplay set in its own separate "region" of the Romantic Isles. We are an animanga, 150 word count site that accepts all levels of roleplayers from beginners to advanced writers. Our birthday is the 13^th of November, 2013, and we intend to have many more to come!

▸ WHAT a busy week it's been! However, I'm hoping to do some general maintenance around the boards, so don't panic too much, okay? Let's see what's happened since our last announcement.

Our winter holiday event is about to end soon, so be sure to investigate the details can still be found here with the exchange located here. The sprigs will disappear shortly after the first of next month, so try to use them before then.

When Twilight Sparkle received Starswirl the Bearded’s own personal journal. Princess Celestia told her of a spell that was incomplete. One the great Unicorn had never been able to finish. Tasked with completing the mysterious spell, Twilight recited it within the library to see just what it would do. Little did she know the incomplete spell had a negative effect on the Elements of Harmony, causing the gems within them to crack! With the gems flawed the magic within the Elements sleep, unable to be used.

Meanwhile news of the mishap with the Elements of Harmony have spread all over Equestria, and dark forces are now gathering to take the land for themselves. Queen Chrysalis recovering from her banishment back to the Changeling Kingdom has begun to rally her army. While in the Frozen North, rumors have circulated about black crystals spotted growing out of the ice where King Sombra’s broken horn was recovered.

But to complicate things even more, with the Elements power gone a dangerous foe who was defeated by the Mane Six is once again free to wreak havoc!

With enemies on all sides and the Elements unusable. Twilight and her friends must seek out a way to repair the gems, or Equestria will be left without one of its greatest means of defense.
