▸ DARKNESS - the entire world has been swallowed in it. Arceus has been the victim of a vicious nightmare from which it cannot awake, and these dreams have plunged the world into darkness. It's up to the Trainers of the world to reach deep within themselves and tap into their inner Pokemon in order to find the Light Shards to awaken Arceus and save the world from falling into shadow.

Fallen To Shadow is a literate Pokemorph roleplay set in its own separate "region" of the Romantic Isles. We are an animanga, 150 word count site that accepts all levels of roleplayers from beginners to advanced writers. Our birthday is the 13^th of November, 2013, and we intend to have many more to come!

▸ WHAT a busy week it's been! However, I'm hoping to do some general maintenance around the boards, so don't panic too much, okay? Let's see what's happened since our last announcement.

Our winter holiday event is about to end soon, so be sure to investigate the details can still be found here with the exchange located here. The sprigs will disappear shortly after the first of next month, so try to use them before then.

HISTORY & POKEMORPH

Elliot was born to a loving mother and father. It was in this home that he grew up in a stable lifestyle. His father had once been a pokemon trainer and his mother was a pokemon reseacher in the region of Hoenn. Elliot was rather proud of his parents, and his mother had a published pokemon magazine so every once in a while they would be flooded by a few of her "fans".

As Elliot grew he soon decided that he would want to follow in his father's footsteps. He loved his mother but he didnt think that researching was really for him. He got bored to easily after all. He thought going off on his own adventure was so much better, being reckless and free was his kind of occupation. Once his dad found out this dream he started to teach Elliot about pokemon and how to properly care and treat them.

During this time Elliot soon found his love for fire type pokemon and started asking more and more questions about them. Sensing this affiliation, his father introduced him to his own fire type rapidash. It didnt take much convincing for Elliot to fall heads over heals for the horse pokemon but even more so its preform, ponyta. His dad would never hear the end of how much he wanted a ponyta.

As Elliot grew so did the news of the shadowing. To him though it was just a project his mother was working on. So when she told them she was leaving to investigate it was no surprise to the young Eli. His mother often went away on research. This time however she never came back as the region of kalos was completely consumed in shadow and she went missing, Eli and his father were heartbroken.

Fearing to lose his son as he had his wife, Eli's father whisked them away from their home and to the islands as suggested. Not long after settling in news came that Hoenn had been completely shadowed as well. Eli was growing up fast and soon understood what was really going on as the other regions fell one by one to this shadowing. Even the islands were shadowing and forced people deeper into the islands.

Elliot was fourteen when the professors proclaimed a way to stop the shadowing. It was also around this age that the boy learned about his spirit pokemon. It had been an accidental step into the shadowed area that allowed him to transform into a fire type himself as wings came from his back in the form of a charizard. Eli never told his father about it knowing how he felt about the shadowed areas since they had lost his mother.

At fifteen Eli decided that he couldnt sit around anymore. He could help make a difference and maybe one day find his mother. So Elliot set off on his own adventure despite his fathers desperate pleas to stay home.

I'm sorry, but your character cannot be accepted at this time! Please address the following issues before you proceed:

- Okay, to start with, your spacing is all wonky. It does that sometimes, so please try to fix this. If you're having issues, just PM me and I'm more than happy to fix it up again for you.

- Next, to me, clumsy isn't a negative personality trait, it's a physical trait. If you could add in another negative trait - perhaps hot-headed, since it seems to work for him? - then we'll be set for that!

- I also hate to sound like a nag, but we really do need you to put in your age, even if it's only on one profile. We're not trying to be creepers, honest, we only ask for it because some people don't roleplay certain types of plots with people who are a certain age - namely romantic type plots with someone under eighteen since that is something that's illegal - so even if it's only on one of your bios, we do need it somewhere on the site.

- Last, but not least, I'm sorry to say that I can't accept a shiny Ponyta for Rin, or even a normal Ponyta. This is because Rin's main hair color is black, not blue. If you would like to keep the shiny Ponyta, I'd like to ask that you get a faceclaim with blue hair. If you'd like to keep Rin, I thnk that a shiny Rapidash, normal Chandelure/Lampent, or a normal Houndour/Houndoom ~~or shiny Charizard~~ could work better since they're all black Fire-type Pokemon.

- As a note to the side, however, I am going to warn you that the last six Pokemon offered as starters are going to change today. Ponyta is listed as one, so if you would like one to match his backstory ~~since I totally thought you were going to pick one instead of a Torchic, yes, I'm that dorky~~, feel free to list it since you would be grandfathered in due to the fact that it was offered while you first put up your bio.

Should you feel that the following judgement has been made in error, you may appeal this decision via a Private Message - we're all human, and sometimes mistakes are made!
