▸DARKNESS - the entire world has been swallowed in it. Arceus has been the victim of a vicious nightmare from which it cannot awake, and these dreams have plunged the world into darkness. It's up to the Trainers of the world to reach deep within themselves and tap into their inner Pokemon in order to find the Light Shards to awaken Arceus and save the world from falling into shadow.
Fallen To Shadow is a literate Pokemorph roleplay set in its own separate "region" of the Romantic Isles. We are an animanga, 150 word count site that accepts all levels of roleplayers from beginners to advanced writers. Our birthday is the 13th of November, 2013, and we intend to have many more to come!
▸WHAT a busy week it's been! However, I'm hoping to do some general maintenance around the boards, so don't panic too much, okay? Let's see what's happened since our last announcement.
Our winter holiday event is about to end soon, so be sure to investigate the details can still be found here with the exchange located here. The sprigs will disappear shortly after the first of next month, so try to use them before then.
We've also announced the official policy for advertising and referring members, so be sure to check that out here when you get a chance.
The first activity check has ended, bringing with it some new changes, so be sure to investigate the details here!
Thank you for sticking with us this long, and happy roleplaying!

"Deli! With the winter holidays just around the corner, it's that time again: the time for the Isle of Festiva to make its grand appearance on the Romantic Isles!
"The Isle of Festiva has a few... odd Pokemon on it, but unfortunately, the professors confirm that the strange properties of the island make them all uncapturable for Trainers, so there's none of them that can join your team. Of course, there is a positive side to all of this though!
"In addition to what you get for defeating a Pokemon, they also drop a mysterious item known as a Sprig of Mistletoe. One of our old champions, Wes from Orre, is actually extremely interested in these Sprigs of Mistletoe, and he has requested that you bring him as many as you can, and he will exchange them for rare items or Pokemon here.
"If everything goes according to past schedules, however, the Isle of Festiva will disappear again on January tenth, so be sure to finish out your threads before then. Also, don't tell anyone, but I have it on good authority that Santa has plans to visit the residents of the Romantic Isles later on this year as well, so be sure to keep an eye out for him too.
"Oh, and one last thing! Mod threads on Festiva won't count towards your one mod thread per character, but on that note, please do try not to spam mod threads there since we don't want to overwork the poor staff, now do we?
"Deli! Good news! Apparently the snow has struck the area hard, and the Isle of Festiva is going to hang around for a bit longer - until February first to be precise.
"And, in other news, Wes has decided to half the price of his goods, so you can get good stuff for less sprigs! He has also issued out a partial refund to Kouhei Makoto for the sole exchange made. So be sure to try to grab up what it is you want most before this blizzard gets any worse!
"Deli! The event is over, and though the Isle of Festiva lingers, it is only so that people can finish out their threads and get levels for them. Sprigs have been awarded for any Pokemon still being fought; if you want to archive the thread and not finish it for the levels, just shoot Kuroya a PM and she'll be happy to archive it.
Your Sprigs will disappear on the thirteenth, so you have until then to spend them at the exchange. At that point, they will disappear from the mini-profile fields and you will have no chance to use them, even if you claim them.
